The world’s fastestman and one of the world’s fastestcars have formed a partnership. The NissanGT-R Bolt edition was announced as a once-off special piece created in honour of a new marriage between Nissan and Usain Bolt. Bolt, the World 100m and 200m record holder and reigning Olympic champion in both events, used to drive a BMW M3 bought for him by his sponsors Puma.
We aren’t sure where the M3 is now, but GT-R doesn’t seem like a bad replacement at all to us, especially given its 405kW of power and a claimed 0 – 100km/h sprint time of 2.9 seconds. Bolt on the other hand, goes from 0 – 100 metres in 9.58 seconds, faster than any other athlete has ever gone on two tekkies before.
